We went back to Joanne's place after the convocation ceremony so that Joanne could wash up before we went for dinner. On that night, we went to Mount Faber to have our dinner. We went to this restaurant called Jewel Box. I would recommend this place to everyone as the atmosphere was great and the food was great too! The restaurant is on the rooftop, so the scenery is pretty good too, especially in the night. Then came this staff working there called Alan. He was such a great host to us. He gave us his recommendations after we were struggling with the menu. He also kindly offered us a bigger table so we could sit comfortably without having to squeeze with each other. There was also a live band performing that night. And so, we made our orders. We ordered a combo set consisting of chicken drumlets and wings, onion rings and fries as starters. As for the main-course, Joanne ordered a plate of linguine marinara. Her mom and dad ordered a bowl of pumpkin soup and steak respectively. I ordered a plate of smoked chicken spaghetti. The pasta was really tasty! The only "complain" was that the steak was a little too tough. Then came deserts, Joanne and my favorite part of the dinner. Joanne had her favorite tiramisu while I had my favorite brownie topped with ice cream. After deserts, Joanne's dad ordered nachos for everyone. We chilled for a while longer before we left the place. I had a great dinner and a great celebration to end the night.
