Graduated lo!

I attended Joanne's convocation ceremony on Friday, 11th July. It was my first time attending someone's convocation, so I was pretty excited to see how the ceremony was like. The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 2.30pm and all the guests had to be seated by 2.15pm. Joanne's parents were very nice to offer to pick me up from my place. Together with Joanne's grandma, the 4 of us travelled to SIM to have our lunch. Reached SIM at around 1 plus and after having our lunch at the school canteen, we went to find Joanne. We finally found her and she was already "gowned." The gown looked really big on her, it made her look like a penguin. (Oh no.) And so, at 2.15pm, we were all seated in the grand hall. The ceremony punctually began at 2.30pm with the graduates processing out from the back of the grand hall to the front. The various head of the school gave their speech and finally it was the part they gave out the certificates. From the booklet provided from all the guests, I found out that Joanne was one of the students with good grades. She was  under the grade category, "Cum Lauder." Cool yea? I'm so proud of her. After the ceremony, we went down  for a tea reception. We took more photos after the reception and then went back home.

Congratulations to you once again!
