Last minute transfers.

Berbatov and Robinho will cross paths when they meet in the Manchester derby.

Here are the 2 biggest transfers that happened in the BPL just before the transfer window closed. Coincidentally, it is the city of Manchester that is responsible for these transfers. Berbatov has finally signed for the English champions after months of transfer speculations. Manchester United signed Berbatov for a fee of 30.75m pounds. He will definitely be a key to Unite's this season with injury hitting the squad. United has finally got a target man since Van Nistelrooy.

We moved to the blue half of Manchester where Real Madrid foward Robinho was signed for a British record 32.5m pounds! So it seemed like we will see Robinho in blue this season. But it will not be the Chelsea blue that he will wear, it is the sky blue of Manchester City. Robinho had been linked with Chelsea all this while. He had also publicly announced his desire to play under Scolari in Chelsea. So, this piece of news will definitely be the biggest surprise in the transfer market.
