Yep, the Singapore Fireworks Festival is here once again! This is the 3rd year that I have been to this event. It is normally held a few weeks after the national day. This year, the event was held on the 22nd and 23rd of August. Joanne and I went for the Saturday one on the 23rd. On Friday, the country presenting the fireworks was France and the Saturday one was Korea. Joanne and I reached Marina Bay at 6 plus and to our surprise, there weren't many people yet. It was maybe because of the rain, if not the place would have been packed by then. We went to chop a good seat and placed plastic bags to sit on. Hiding under our umbrella, we waited for the event to start. Martina and Gerald joined us awhile later. So, the event started at around 8 plus. Fireworks were shot up the sky with loud blasts accompanied with some Korean drama music in the background. There was even the 大長今 music at one point. Adults and kids were screaming and the fireworks were blasting and the whole event ended in 15min. Even the rain could not dampened the excitement everyone had. Above are some photos taken that day and I will upload the videos on another day.
