Is that a saucer!?

The saucer looks perfectly fine in this photo right? BUT.....

Just look at the odd '20 degree angle slant' design of the saucer. No wonder the sauce would leak. Ya, it looks nice but that is not an appropriate design for a saucer! The designer should go bang his head against the wall or maybe the person who decided to use this as a saucer should.

After watching the fireworks, Joanne and I followed Martina, Gerald and some of their friends to have our late dinner. We went to the 24hr TCC at Internationl Building in Orchard. Anyway, the dinner was spoilt by a ultra careless staff and a very weird saucer. This was what happened. We went there, ordered our food and everything was still fine until the food came. One of the staff served the food we ordered to our table, he placed the dish on the table and then served the sauce that came with it. Interestingly, the staff actually served the sauce over Joanne's head.(Didn't he have any training prior to the job or at least common sense that you should not serve anything over a customer's head.) Due to his "wonderful" service, the sauce drip onto Joanne's hair and down to her cardigan. This was partly the staff's fault and partly the fault of the interestingly designed saucer. WHAT THE HELL!!?? The staff apologized immediately and that was basically what he did the whole time, sorry..sorry..I'm so sorry. Oh ya, he did do something else, he offered us more tissue when there was already plenty on our table. Martina accompanied Joanne to the toilet to wash her hair. When they came back, we told the staff that Joanne's cardigan was also stained by the sauce. The staff then offered to send it for laundry. Another staff came to ask if we had the TCC membership card, which we said no at first. So, he said he would offer us a 10% discount as an apology. Then, one of us took out the membership hoping that we might get an additional discount on top of the 10%. But we were wrong, the staff told us that they couldn't give an  additional discount. (Then why ask for the membership card in the first place.) Instead, they offered to pay for one of the drinks which we ordered. In the whole incident, the staffs have shown no sincerity to show that they were apologetic over the accident. What a huge disappointment. I am definitely not going back there ever again.
