Just came back from a jog downstairs my place. Needed to keep fit for the army. Anyway, I'm leaving for Malaysia on Sunday. I'm not very sure what time I'm leaving but I'm looking forward to the trip. I haven't been out of Singapore for God knows when. When I say leaving, i mean really leaving. (Sentosa not counted.) Oh, I need to share my hectic day on Monday. My passport had already expired, so I needed to go get an extension. Went the ICA together with Joanne at around 11 plus 12. It was PACKED! Anyway, before we went there, Joanne had told me that I might have to apply for a new passport and told me to prepare $80 just in case. Ya, so I asked my dad for $80 which he then gave me 100 bucks. (very nice of him. Thanks dad!) When I reached ICA, I found out that I could only make payment with either Nets or cashcard. Oh my gosh, i have no nets but I have a cashcard but without that much money. I panicked. Then, i thought, why not take my passport first, since I was already there. After taking the photo, I decided to seek for help from my uncle, also my godpa who lives next to me. He said he wasn't at home but Jonathan was. I messaged Jonathan to ask if he could help topup 80 bucks to my cashcard with his nets. Then he told me his dad came back and maybe he could help. So i travelled back home with Joanne to find my uncle. I didn't know i could actually top up my cashcard with cash until my uncle told me.Darn! I wasted my trip back. And so I went to a nearby 7/11 to top up my cashcard and then took a cab back to ICA. Here comes the best part. I  went queued at the counter, then it was my turn. The lady at the counter told me, "You can actually get an EXTENSION." NOOOOO!!!!!, i told myself. I had put 80 bucks into the cashcard and now I'm not going to use it. Crap. And so I went to get an extension. Waited for I'm not sure how long and it was my turn. The auntie at the counter was pretty humorous. She said, "Ok, I'm going to give you an extension until forever." FOREVER!?ha...her forever was actually til 2010. Great description uh. So, that's my adventure on Monday.
