Goodbye Pique.

Manchester United has sold defender Gerard Pique back to Barcelona. He has signed a 4 year deal with the catalans. Pique actually left Barcelona for United in 2004. Hmmm..I'm not sure about this deal. I mean, Pique is one for the future. He has what it takes to become a great central defender. Towering at 1.91m, he has the ability to beat anyone in air. He scored twice for United in Europe. Won the treble with the reserves. Won the double with the first team. I thought Pique would make a great asset to the team. Unfortunately, United have Vidic and Ferdinand, which will keep Pique on the bench. What's done is done. I wish Pique all the best in the Catalans where he will fight for place with Puyol, Marquez, Milito. I hope he will return to Old Trafford one day. On the other hand, while I am still playing football manager 2008, I will never sell Pique. Goodbye Pique!
